The following is a detailed description of the various services that we offer. They are grouped into four sections: Carpet, Furniture, Tile and Mattress Care. Following these four groups are descriptions that help explain our processes.

Carpet Care

Hypo-Allergenic Carpet Cleaning this style of cleaning uses all hypo-allergenic cleaning agents. These cleaning agents are derived from natural, renewable plant sources. They will not harm the environment and are an excellent choice for allergy, asthma and chemically sensitive individuals. This form of cleaning is referred to as “green” cleaning. In addition to the “green” cleaning agents we also use filtered soft water providing the highest level of non-evasive cleaning possible. We use Master blend cleaning agents and the Responsible care system.

Upholstery Care

Description of Processes

HEPA Pre-Vacuum (HEPA Dry soil extraction) our technician(s) will thoroughly vacuum every area designated by the homeowner. We use a high quality HEPA vacuum. The filter in this vacuum traps the very smallest particles allowing us to remove them from the home. Many allergens are too small for the ordinary vacuum to capture thus leaving these annoying particles in the home. Our HEPA Vacuum is so effective that it is the only one recommend by the American Lung Association. It will filter and trap particles that are .3 microns or larger including hair, dust mites, dust mite feces, pollen, pet dander, mold, yeast and bacteria.

Deluxe Edge Cleaning our technicians with gently agitate (brush) the soil and debris that builds up at the edges of your carpet. After dislodging the debris they will vacuum the excess debris away. Finally they will use a specialized edge cleaning tool to steam and extract the very edge of your carpet leaving a clean uniform appearance.

Carpet Protector describes a carpet additive used to preserve the beauty and appearance of carpet. When carpet is milled it is a colorless fiber with pores. The pores are filled with dye. The carpet receives two separate treatments of protection. First it receives an acid dye blocker. This is the last defense for you carpet and the first protection applied. Second it receives a repelling agent. This is the first defense and should be re-applied every 12-18 months according to the major carpeting manufacturers. The repelling agent also offers a high degree of protection from fiber wear. With cleaning agents we can remove the majority of spot and stains in your carpet but wear is irreversible.

Manufacturers of Stain Resistant carpet will claim that re-application of carpet protector is unnecessary prior to the carpets fifth anniversary. When they make this claim they are referring to the acid dye blocking component of the carpet. If the repellency protector is not re-applied every 12-18 months the stain warranty may be voided. The repellency protector is like a safety glove over the acid dye blocker and ultimately the carpet fiber. This layer is degraded with wear, vacuuming, time and cleaning. A proper application of a repellency protector like DuPont Teflon Advanced will maintain the beauty and appearance of your carpet and tests have proven this product can double the lifespan of your flooring investment.

In addition to the DuPont Teflon we also offer PRO’s Choice Stain Guardian Ultra. This excellent product enhances your carpets acid dye blockers as well as providing a layer of protection. This product will not cause liquid spills to bead up for easy clean up. It will however inhibit them from bonding with your carpet fiber allowing for easy cleanup long after the liquid spill has dried.

Both offered protectors will increase the effectiveness of dry soil extraction (vacuuming) and inhibit liquid stain bonding. By inhibiting the stain the carpet fibers will clean much easier with home cleaning and professional methods. The advantage of Teflon is the beading effect. Most homeowners with blot up liquid spills immediately and completely as they are beaded up by the Teflon. However, Stain Guard Ultra will be extremely effective even when the liquid stain is allowed to remain for long periods of time on the carpet.

Maintenance Service is included in the Premier Cleaning Package. During the warranty period (1 full year) the homeowner may schedule a maintenance visit once per quarter for a minimum fee. A maintenance visit includes traffic lane cleaning in all areas covered under warranty. The minimum fee is defined as a trip charge of $55.00 plus $3.00 per room, $5.00 per staircase and $2.00 per hallway/large closet.

Allergy relief treatment (ART) is an agent sprayed onto carpet used to denature (render harmless) allergens (IGE’s). ART provides a residual and beneficial effect for up to six months. This product will continue to denature allergens such as: dander, animal saliva, dust mite waste and pollen. Any allergen that contacts this product for up to six months will be denatured. ART can be used in conjunction with standard synthetic cleaning agent processes. Standard cleaning with ART application is not recommended for chemically sensitive individuals.

Specialized stain removal includes: stains that are not removed by steam cleaning or standard solvent treatments i.e. kool aid, fruit punch, colored candy, cough syrup, plant, wood, furniture, mustard, coffee, mold, tea, urine, blood vomit, gum, grease, tar, ink, wax, adhesives, etc. Commonly, many of the previously mentioned stains are removed during normal cleaning. If not there is a separate charge for specialized stain removal.
